Hot And Sour Soup
INGREDIENTS (1 serving)
- Oil : 1 tsp
- Chicken : ¼ bowl
- Onion, minced : 1 small
- Carrot : ½ bowl
- Mushrooms : 3-4
- Bean sprouts : ¼ bowl
- Lemon Juice : 2 tsp
- Soya sauce : 1 tsp
- Chopped Coriander leaves : 1 tsp
- Salt : to taste
- Red Chilli Powder : to taste
- Pepper : to taste
- Wheat flour : 2 tsp
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Cook diced chicken in a little water.
- Heat oil in a saucepan. Add the finely chopped onion and carrot and fry until it is soft and transparent.
- Stir in the flour to form a smooth paste.
- Add the mushroom, bean sprouts and seasonings and cook on moderate heat constantly stirring till it boils.
- Reduce the heat, cover the pan and cook for half an hour.
- Serve hot and garnish with fresh coriander leaves

- Chicken is a good source of protein and carrots are an amazing source of vitamin A which improves eyesight.
- Can be eaten as a snack in between the meals.
